Meet Jane Bishop

Hello! I am Jane Bishop, founder and CEO of Take the Next Step which emerged out of my passion to help others “go for their It.” My business offers coaching, consulting, and training services that empower individuals, groups, and organizations by helping them align with their inner core for success. Who benefits from working with me? Business owners and new leaders who struggle with their identify in their role and want to make a sustainable shift and be effective. Team leaders who want training for their team to improve their team development related to communication. 

When we work together, you have the benefit of over 25 years of training, education, and lessons learned while training and leading people in four environments: academic, athletic, national corporate company and as a business owner.  I don't know everything however what I know, I know well, What I don't know, I learn or identify where to discover the knowledge.  Whether it is working with groups in team development/strengthening, a new leader in professional development or a businesses to define purpose, develop a strategic plan and implement action steps, I consider it an honor to walk alongside and help you accomplish your desired outcome. A strong and energetic communicator,I have been the keynote speaker at these type of events: business, networking groups, church, women’s ministry, weekend retreats, and national platforms across the United States.  Others have said my style is contagious and unexpected as I use my God-given gifts and skills to help others “get it." 

Education and training is a priority for me. I hold degrees from three institutions:  Samford University (B.S. in Education),  University of Alabama Birmingham (M.A. in Education) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A.C.E. in Christian Education) and am certified in the following:

Jane resides in a suburb of Atlanta, GA. She enjoys traveling, music, sports, reading, photography and staying fit. She is also a worship leader and soloist. She has written for several periodicals and was a contributing writer to Interpersonal Relationship Skills for Ministry  textbook for NOBTS.  Jane is also a contributing author to the Amazon Best Seller, Overcoming Mediocrity: Remarkable Women and has published her first solo book, The Bread Box, Life By The Slice.
